Planning
The Association's Planning Officer monitors all planning applications submitted in the area. These applications are listed weekly by the City Planning Office for public scrutiny and any member of the public is at liberty to request their own weekly planning list from Dublin City Council. It is also a legal requirement to post a public notice on the building or site to which the planning application refers.
The Committee of the Terenure Residents' Association considers applications on the basis of whether they will materially impact the overall environment in Terenure. The committee may submit an objection/observation should there be a consensus to do so. This would be rare for residential applications unless another member of the Association approaches us, and then only after discussing the application with that member.
In some instances appeals may be taken by the Association to An Bord Pleanála.
Details of major planning applications in Terenure and the Association's response will be published via our Noticeboard.
You can contact the Association's Planning Officer directly using this link (a new window will open).
