This website is designed and maintained by the Terenure Residents' Association. While we have gone to some lengths to ensure the accuracy of the information on the site, errors may occasionally creep in and should you come across one, or encounter any problems using the site, please let us know.

Photography

We hope you enjoy the pictures on the site. Those not taken by Association committee members are reproduced with the copyright holder's kind permission and duly accredited. We would be delighted to receive, and consider putting on the site, any good quality photographs of Terenure or Bushy Park in your collection (the photographer's or copyright holder's permission must also be supplied). Please get in touch if you do have any.

Privacy Policy

This site does not employ any technology that could personally identify you. Should you give us your email address, either by signing up for our newsletter or by contacting us, we will not sell, rent or otherwise disclose this to any third party unless required by law. The only exception to this is for third parties who manage our contact form data and Noticeboard subscription list, each of which also warrants that no use will be made of this data other than by the Terenure Residents' Association. We will only send you emails of a non-commercial nature, although it is possible we may publicise commercial events or activities (without fee) if we believe these may be of interest to our subscribers. You may unsubscribe from our Noticeboard news emails by using the link at the bottom of these emails.

Data Policy

The Terenure Residents' Association manages 2 separate databases. The first is a list of each address in our area (arranged by street) with the name(s) of the occupant where supplied in the past by that person. This list is used solely to assist our committee members to collect voluntary subscriptions. The details of this list are not made available outside of the association's committee, and details of any subscriptions paid by specific households or persons are not entered on to any computer system, any paper copy details being retained for up to 2 years for auditing purposes only. Should you wish to have your name removed from this list (and replaced by the note "name removed on request"), please contact us using this form or contact the data controller directly (email address below).

The second database is our noticeboard/newsletter email list. This consists of email address and, if supplied, first and last name. These details will have been supplied either in person to our authorised committee member, written on a subscription collection envelope given or delivered to a committee member, or submitted via our website. These details are stored outside the EU on the servers of our email handler, the Rocket Science Group LLC, trading as Mailchimp, and are subject to a Data Processing Agreement between them and ourselves. You can update the information on this database, or unsubscribe from it, by clicking on the links at the bottom of any email sent from us, or by contacting the data controller directly.
